Minutes of April 14, 2005

Present:  Jim Wood, Becky Kurtz, Char Lenon

Jim presented his new book and samples of his next two books, copies of the Pioneer Group 2005 Calendar, and several aerial maps of the area. 

Jim suggested we set up a display at the county fair and Wheatland Music and use youth groups to man these events i.e. New Hope and St. Mikes Youth groups, Girl Scouts, etc.

Becky stated that Ed and Meg would not be opposed to a gathering of the historical group at Bundy Hill.  We’ll try to set up something social for spring and invite the public.

Meetings have been changed from the third Thursday each month to the second Thursday each month. .

Char had a copy of Mecosta County 150 celebration brochure and an email from Linda of notice of a meeting of area museums at the Old Rugged Cross Museum in Reed City on April 23, 2005, at 1:00 p.m.

Jim will drop off a couple pictures to Becky and she will copy them for the calendar. Becky also agreed to gather a list of some local events for the calendar.
