Remus, MI –  The Remus Area Historical Society, which exists to preserve and celebrate the area's rich heritage, is offering two Genealogy programs that will help you build your Family History. Â
First, a four session Genealogy Workshop Series called How to Build Your Family Tree For Beginners taught by Mary Ann Stickler is being offered at Morton Township Library in Mecosta. The dates are October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd from 10 a.m. to Noon. Participants will learn how to build a family tree, find free records via old newspapers and online databases, and receive personal guidance. The four-week series cost is $20. Some laptops are available on-site or bring your own. Register by Friday, September 26th, by emailing maryannstickler@hotmail.com. Â
Second, persons conducting family history research can now use the foyer computer at the Remus Museum at 324 S.
