Honoring Our Community Forum-April 27 2022

Remus Area Historical Society invites the public to attend the April 27, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Honoring Our Community forum at the Wheatland Township Hall in Remus. Portions of the Remus Elder Oral History film/slideshow featuring area elders will be shown. Brittany Fremion, Associate Professor of History at CMU will lead a discussion about what we can learn from our elders/local history that may impact our future as the community undergoes change. Paul Gross of MSU Extension has also been invited.

Copies of the Oral History film/slideshow will be for sale at the free event; snacks will be provided. The project was funded in part by Michigan Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic plan.
