MHA Grant Provides Vital Tech Upgrades for RAHS
Remus, MI – Remus Area Historical Society (RAHS) has been awarded a $2042 grant from the third annual Michigan Historical Alliance (MHA) Grant Program to upgrade the technical capabilities of RAHS and the related museum. RAHS is one of 23 small historical societies across the state of Michigan who received a grant from the 2025 MHA Grant Program. This funding comes from the MHA, Consumer’s Energy, and our own match.
President Linda Howard said, “These funds will be used to purchase a new laptop, laser printer, and cover related expenses. By updating these items, the historical society and museum will continue to provide quality services and programs to Remus and the surrounding community. The new laptop and printer will be vital resources for the ongoing genealogy workshops hosted by RAHS and will be used to improve the organization and documentation of collections within the museum.”
A complete list of grant awards around the state is available by visiting the MHA website at www.hsmichigan.org.
